MIKE CONSTANTINO

OWNER AND FOUNDER

Mike Constantino has vast experience in all aspects of Mixed Martial Arts as a Gym Owner, Trainer, Sports Agent & Fight Promoter.​

 

In 2003 Constantino opened American Martial Arts in Whippany, NJ and shortly after created “AMA Fight Club” a world renown MMA Fight Team serving as Head Trainer for multiple professional UFC fighters as well as numerous regional mixed martial arts champions. In addition to being head trainer of AMA Fight Club, Michael founded and became CEO of MVC Sports Management, which went from start up to having over 100 professional athletes including 20 UFC fighters under management as well as representing multiple brands and managing their marketing budget in the MMA space.​

 

As a Trainer & Manager, Constantino has worked with UFC Champions Khabib Nurmagomedov & Amanda Nunes, WEC Champion Jamie Varner, as well as home grown UFC fighters Jim Miller, Dan Miller & Charlie Brenneman amongst many others.

As a fight promoter, Constantino was an owner & President of Cage Fury Fighting Championships from 2014 – 2016, prior to it being acquired by Alliance MMA becoming the first publicly traded Mixed Martial Arts promotion on the NASDAQ. Constantino then partnered with UFC & Boxing legend Burt Watson with their new fight promotion “MMA LIVE” and had a sold-out debut show at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida.

In 2012, Mike Constantino was inducted into the New Jersey Martial Arts Hall of Fame and received an award for being “Trainer of the Year” along with being recognized by ESPN as one of the “Top 10 MMA Trainers in the world.” In 2013 Constantino was named as a member of “The UFC Top 100” and featured in UFC Magazine.

 

Prior to opening AMA, Mike was a Bodyguard for State Of The Art Security Agency (SASA) and a Tactical Instructor at ITC which is an International training camp that multiple law enforcement agencies sent their personnel to get trained in hand to hand combat as well as tactical shooting. As a bodyguard, Constantino worked many high-risk International protection details throughout London and Asia as well as providing protection for many famous celebrities and high-profile events including being the detail leader for the 45th Annual Grammy Awards at Madison Square Garden in New York City in 2003.
