A STORIED 20 YEAR LEGACY
AMA Fight Club, located in Cedar Knolls, NJ has been a cornerstone of delivering world-class martial arts training for 20 years.
Under the vision of founder Michael Vincent Constantino, AMA Fight Club first opened its doors in the summer of 2004. From the flagship’ kid’s and adult’s traditional martial arts classes, AMA soon welcomed Jamie Cruz, at the time one of only 3 black belts in all of New Jersey, to lead the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu curriculum and led students to numerous competitive successes.
In just its third year in operation, AMA ambitiously developed an MMA team to compete at the highest levels of world-class events, adding expert Muay Thai kickboxing to its curriculum and recruiting a team of young fighters.
While hundreds of professional fighters have trained at AMA, and many hopefuls have made it their home base, AMA is the most proud of its four homegrown talents who reached the pinnacle of the sport by competing in the UFC.
The COVID-10 pandemic posed significant challenges, leading to a year-long closure and the demolition of its original location. However, with the support of AVI Sports Management, the school reopened in a new, state-of-the-art facility. Our focus has since shifted to offering authentic top-quality instruction for EVERYONE.
For 20 years now, men, women, and children from ages 3 and up have joined AMA Fight Club to build confidence, learn self-defense, master cutting-edge fighting skills, and become better and more resilient versions of themselves.
